Senior Archers

The Hellertown Sportsmen’s Association has outdoor bales as well as a compound target for members to practice. The range is available from 9am to 9pm daily. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult member. Please wear your membership badges and sign in on the log book when shooting on the range.

There are two indoor archery leagues that shoot on Wednesday and Friday nights during the winter season beginning each January. The leagues are limited to 20 shooters per league. During the winter months open shooting is often available indoors for a $7.00 fee. (Usually on Monday mornings, Monday & Wednesday evenings. Check our calendar for days and times or call Lou Bove.)

Pre-Season Indoor Archery League Practice will begin on Wednesday nights starting in October and running through December. Pre-Season Indoor Archery Practice begins in the fall & runs through the spring every Monday morning from 9 am to noon. Check our calendar for days and times.

All Adult members welcome!

HSA Senior Archery Leagues begin in January and are held on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7 pm.

The Leagues will run 12 consecutive weeks. The Leagues are open to 20 members. All Archery League members must be adult members of Hellertown Sportsmen’s Association.

Junior Archers

HSA has a junior archery program that has been in existence for over 25 years.

The season begins each September and meets on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm. There is a tournament for all involved and the season concludes in April with a pot-luck banquet and trophies.

All Jr. Archers (ages 5 thru 18) must be HSA members and a parent must be present during shooting times.

If the local schools are closed due to snow, Jr. Archery will also be canceled.
